Wren Kitchens is the UK's largest specialist consumer-facing kitchen retailer: a vertically integrated manufacturer-retailer selling kitchens, bedrooms and wider fitted furniture direct to homeowners through its own showrooms. Three range tiers - Vogue, Infinity and Infinity Plus - span entry-level flat-pack to bespoke, with free design, free installation and 0% finance.

Price tier: Mid-market

Ownership: Privately owned. Founded by Malcolm Healey; Wren Kitchens Limited is now held through The Wren Group Limited. No private equity or external institutional owner, and no franchising - every showroom is company-owned and operated.

Formats: Large-format retail-park showrooms of roughly 15,000 to 21,700 sq ft, plus a newer small-format high-street showroom of around 6,000 sq ft. Free in-showroom design consultations with VR design studios, free installation and 0% finance; the purchase is showroom and appointment-led rather than online. A Contract and Social Housing division supplies housebuilders and housing associations.

Growth: Still opening across the UK, with 15 new showrooms committed for the current year and a small-format high-street rollout aimed at reaching every town and city in the UK. The range is also extending beyond kitchens and bedrooms into whole-home fitted furniture.
