Be.EV UK store locations
What Be.EV is
Be.EV is a UK public EV charging network that installs funded rapid and ultra-rapid charging hubs at third-party retail, leisure and hospitality sites rather than motorway service areas, workplaces or residential streets, so drivers can charge while they shop, eat or visit.
Price tier: Mid-market
Ownership: Be.EV is the trading brand of Iduna Infrastructure Limited, majority-owned (around 83%) by Octopus Energy Generation, with debt financing from NatWest and KfW IPEX-Bank and investment from Schroders Capital. Every site is owned and operated by Be.EV on land leased from its hosts, with no franchise model.
Formats: Rapid (50-149kW) and ultra-rapid (150-400kW) charging hubs hosted at retail parks and shopping centres, leisure venues and visitor attractions, car washes, hotels and pubs, council car parks and roadside and drive-thru sites. Sites are open 24 hours.
Growth: Growing through funded charging partnerships with property owners' retail and leisure portfolios, and through acquisition - the purchase of Mer's UK public charging network roughly tripled the estate and extended it into the South of England.
