Allego UK store locations
What Allego is
Allego is a pan-European public EV charging network operating across 16 countries, including the UK, where it installs funded rapid and ultra-rapid charging at third-party hotel, grocery-convenience and destination sites so drivers can charge while they stay, shop or eat.
Price tier: Mid-market
Ownership: Allego trades in the UK through Allego Charging Ltd, part of the Arnhem-headquartered Allego group, which is majority-owned (around 86.6%) by the French long-term infrastructure investor Meridiam. Allego funds, owns and operates every charger on land leased from its hosts, with no franchise model.
Formats: Rapid (50-149kW) and ultra-rapid (150kW+) charging hosted at hotels and grocery-convenience stores, city-centre and urban destination hubs, and standalone roadside sites. Sites are open 24 hours.
Growth: Investing to add up to 1,400 ultra-rapid chargers across the UK, backed by Meridiam, prioritising motorways, London, busy roads, densely populated urban areas and retail and hospitality destinations.
