Aesop UK store locations
What Aesop is
Aesop is a design-led, minimalist, plant-based skincare, body care, haircare, fragrance and home-fragrance house, sold through architecturally bespoke standalone boutiques (no two stores alike), department-store counters and travel retail. It sits at the prestige end of the market, with no value tier, and deliberately avoids mass advertising, influencer marketing and loyalty schemes.
Price tier: Luxury
Ownership: A wholly owned subsidiary of L'Oreal, sitting within its Luxe Division, acquired from Natura & Co. The UK trading entity is Aesop UK Limited, and the UK stores are company-operated, with no franchising.
Formats: Standalone "Signature Store" boutiques, each designed individually for its site, in prime city-centre locations; department-store counters, including Harrods; travel retail through World Duty Free at Heathrow; and direct online sales. There are no retail-park, drive-thru or delivery-app formats.
Growth: Expanding beyond London and the South East, including its first store in the North of England at Victoria Leeds, while also reinvesting in existing locations such as a redesigned Harrods counter. Globally the brand is opening new stores each year, with Japan its largest market. No numeric UK store target has been published.
